Hey my name is Elizabeth I am 15 and I am in 10th grade. I live in Efrat and I have lived there for 8 years. Before I moved to Efrat I lived in Jerusalem. Before I lived in Jerusalem I lived in New York City. I moved from New York to Jerusalem when I was five. It was Mom, Dad, my little sister, Joy and I. We moved right to Jerusalem and my parents decided that they wanted to move to a smaller place so we moved to Efrat. Since then I have been living in Efrat. When I moved to Israel there weren’t any programs to help us find a good home and a good school for me and my sister and a job for my parents. I would assume it was pretty hard. But now we are doing well thank god!
I am one of five kids and I am the oldest. I have one sister and three brothers. My sister is 12 years old and she is in 7th grade. She is really fun and smiley and I love hanging out with her we are really close. She is amazing at running she always goes to races in Jerusalem to represent her school. Then there is my brother max who is 9 years old and he is in 4th grade. He is very good at sports and I love playing with him soccer, basketball and pretty much everything else possible. In my family we play a lot of sports, which is something that we do a lot and we always enjoy. Then there is Isaac he is 6 years old he just started 1st grade. Isaac is very fun and funny. I love hanging out with him all the time. The baby of our family is Sam. He is cute and cuddly. He always makes me laugh. I am in a few after school programs, such as gymnastics, dance and choir. I love to do all of those things. I will always have fun doing them.
I really love living in Israel. I think it is very important and I'm glad my parents made this decision. I think all the Jews should live here, it is an amazing place and I always feel comftorbale and safe. I think that it is amazing that we can live here with people that aren’t like as and still somehow get along with them. Even though in every country there are a lot of different people I think it is very special in Israel because in Israel you are supposed to be a Jew and we still expect every one and even show our culture. Here it is also more special because we are fighting over our country and not just living here witch makes it a lot more appreciative.
I don’t really read a lot so I wouldn’t call it my hobby. I don’t like reading I would rather watch the movie... I think that I am going to start reading more because I think it is really important. Reading helps with a lot of things…
I think that It is important to learn from the people around you. I think that the people I learn the most from are my parents. My parents have always taught me to care for other people more then you care for your self always go toward other people. I think my family members and my friends also inspire me. I think I learn from the people around me how I think the proper way to act is.
That is my life and for now I am enjoying it!
